Notice of Intent to Publish the Reissuance of RFA-NS-18-020, Novel Technologies and Approaches for Recording and Modulation in the Nervous System (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

Summary/Description

This Notice informs the research community that the NIH BRAIN Initiative intends to reissue Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-NS-18-020 “BRAIN Initiative: Novel Technologies and Approaches for Recording and Modulation in the Nervous System (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed).” This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. The FOA is expected to be published in May 2021with an expected application due date in October 2021. This FOA will utilize the R01 activity code. Details of the planned FOA are provided below.
