Notice of Intent to Publish the Reissuance of RFA-NS-18-019, Optimization of Transformative Technologies for Recording and Modulation in the Nervous System (U01 Clinical Trials Not Allowed)

Summary/Description

This Notice informs the research community that the Institutes and Centers of the NIH BRAIN Initiative intend to reissue Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-NS-18-019, “BRAIN Initiative: Optimization of Transformative Technologies for Recording and Modulation in the Nervous System (U01 Clinical Trials Not Allowed). This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. The FOA is expected to be published in May 2021 with an expected application due date in October 2021. This FOA will utilize the U01 activity code. Details of the planned FOA are provided below.
